The Enrichment Programme
The Enrichment Programme was created to provide students with an alternative pathway that supports their individual learning needs while preparing them to fully integrate into the mainstream High School Programme. Initially unnamed, and later established in 2017 as the Enrichment Centre, the programme began with three classrooms designed around the Ministry of Education's Pathway levels. Over time, it has evolved into two classrooms:
-
Enrichment 1 - Catering to students on the lower end of the learning spectrum and who require greater support and may not be readily able to transition into the mainstream program.
-
Enrichment 2 - Catering to students who have the potential to integrate into the mainstream program with the necessary intervention.

Students in the Enrichment Programme engage with a well-rounded curriculum that includes core subjects such as Mathematics, English, Science, and Social Studies, as well as Phonics, Reading and Comprehension, Christian Education, Physical Education, and Music.

To further equip students with practical skills, the programme has also expanded to include Vocational Studies. Students have explored areas such as Data Entry and Cashiering, and more recently, Housekeeping. Beginning this academic year, the programme is also introducing Sewing in the Easter Term (Term 2), which will be available to Enrichment students as well as those in Grades 10 and 11 who express an interest in developing this skill.

In an effort to address declining reading skills, the school is actively developing a dedicated Reading Programme for students in the Enrichment Programme. We are working towards acquiring The Mico Diagnostic Reading Kit, which will allow teachers to assess each student’s reading ability and provide tailored interventions to strengthen their literacy skills.

The ultimate goal of the Enrichment Programme is to ensure that every student has a clear and purposeful path forward. For some, this means transitioning into the mainstream high school programme; for others, it means gaining valuable skills and interests that will serve them as they mature into young adults. Wherever your child falls, the Enrichment Programme offers opportunities for growth, development, and success.
